First time here. Service was very good as well was the food. It was served quickly. Price was fineFajitas for two,two teas one margarita two sour cream enchalatas $44 dollars and change before the tip. We will be backAlso had one TV on MLB and the other was NASCAR 😎

I ordered a bowl of tortilla soup and it was good, but the bowl was small. Also it was supposed to be served with avocado, and it was, but it had only one little slice. They have good HH specials. They have friendly staff and the service was very good.

Great food, awesome salsa, friendly staff. Manager has a great attitude and is very helpful.

Really like their flight of margaritas! Best deal is before 7pm as you get Happy Hour prices!

Margaritas and steak nachos. Consistently the best margaritas ever! I love this place. I always look for Carlos when I go in. I insist on sitting in his area. He's the best. The steak nachos are out of this world. Not the usual pile of chips and various toppings dumped on. Each nacho is hand built with steak and cheese. The Homer Simpson drool sound would be appropriate here. The manager is always out on the floor conversing with guest. I commented about how much I like and appreciate this place and he actually walked me over and introduced me to Papa Lopez. Very nice guy! This is by far my most favorite place to go out and eat and have a drink. Ask for Carlos!

Close to a 5 stars but something kept it from getting there. Love the food! Had the chili rellenos which in my opinion was quite on par, but I think it was the sides that held it back.

Will start off saying all the reviews i have heard about this place are wrong. Have heard its average. Let me tell you this, it's amazing. The food is great, wait staff are friendly and fast, good atmosphere and papa lopez himself came to our table to ask how everything was. Will definitely be back here.

We are regulars at Papa Lopez. As a Texan you begin to judge a Mexican restaurant by it’s chips/salsa/queso and I could make a meal out of those alone. Their steak fajitas are amazing -we order ours medium rare and we crave them. They also have the most delicious chicken tortilla soup, charro beans, nachos supreme, and shrimp quesadillas. Staff is warm and friendly and margaritas with patron silver hit the spot after a long day! Most days you can get a glimpse of Lopez when he comes out of the kitchen for a moment.

Friendly staff. Good service. Great for families. The enchiladas are pretty decent. Very wide range of tequilas.

This place had some very good Mexican food. The street tacos were delicious l, the beans and rice were delicious and so were the chips and salsa. They had good margaritas as well. Their brisket enchiladas were also very good and tasty. The restaurant was clean and nice and the employees were fast, nice and courteous. I will definitely be eating at these restaurants again. Very good food.

Sometimes it's difficult to give a decent rating. We went on the opening weekend and my wife loved it. I thought it was somewhat middle-of the road. So I compromised and gave it four stars. I suppose it's just what your expectations are. Try it out. You may be impressed, like my wife was. Worst case is you get full at a decent price for food you won't crave again.

A little pricey, but I love it! The chicken fajitas are my favorite. Love the chips and queso. Also, must try the fried cheesecake with raspberry sauce. Delicious delicious delicious! Kids eat free on Monday and Tuesday nights, so that’s when we go. 😊

I had the chicken fajita quesadilla, which was very good.Also had the Mexican Martini, which I would actually call a classic non-frozen margarita except it was served without ice. It was Milagro tequila and Cointreau (both excellent choices), fresh squeezed lime juice, and simple syrup. I might suggest replacing the simple syrup with agave syrup, but it was still an excellent margarita.

Everything I order was good staff was friendly I ordered stuff japlenos beef Chimichanga and frozen margarita definitely coming back

This is my wife and my go to place for a relaxing meal sans kids. The atmosphere is enjoyable and the food is great. The service is always speedy and the prices are reasonable.

I had the shredded chicken enchiladas, rice and charro beans. Everything was very good. Salsa was very good and freshly made. Service was good. Will definitely go back again.I went back for Taco Tuesday..they don't have it any more. There were 2 other people in the restaurant. Might want to bring it back.

This place was ok. Best I can say. Food was bland. Bartender seemed more interested in chatting on phone than serving anyone. Probably will not be going back.

Great food and great atmosphere. I had the Cheese Enchiladas which had this nacho cheese filling. Tables come with Chips and Salsa, which the salsa is on point. The chili con queso dip is a great addition though and priced fairly. Highly Recommend!

Wow I’m impressed. Ordered the tortilla soup and the chicken and cheese enchiladas w rice and beans. Waiter even suggested a cheap way to order the food to save me money. What a place. I like to try several things at a new place. It was one of the best soups I’ve had anywhere and the enchiladas were excellent. The sour cream sauce was well made and the chili sauce on the cheese enchiladas were not greasy like most places are w chili sauce. Sales and chips are also great but spicy! I’m very impressed and I would drive from Frisco to here to eat again. No problem on the visit so I had to leave a review..this place is a must eat! Quality all around!

You can easily notice their restaurant from the outside because of their unique facade. The steak fajitas I ordered was so tender and juicy.

Food was excellent but service was definitely lacking. No one greeted us when we arrived although they seen us walk in not even the bartender acknowledged us. We waited a couple minutes and decided to leave, when they saw us walking towards the door we finally got seated. Waitress was not much better took forever to get an order in and there was only one other table besides us. Maybe next time service will be better? But the food made up for it this time.

Four different meals plus four margaritas for pickup. Arrived home, all meals still hot and great and the typical great drinks. Love this place and the people are always friendly.

I go to Mexican restaurants a lot and really wasn't impressed. Food wasn't that great and is overpriced. Would recommend blue goose or Cristina's. Will not be back here

Ordered Steak Nachos, the steak pieces were too big, and couldn't bite through them.Had to rebuild after cutting up the steak.Flavor was good!They LOVE Cilantro here!Our waiter was GREAT!

Great food. Absolutely amazing service. It was a little slow of a start getting our drinks but our waiter apologized and worked fast and hard to get our food at a fast pace. This is my second time and I’m just as impressed.Colton was our server! Very polite

This place has sentimental value: When I dated my wife, this was our place. We we lived in the apartments across the street, we often hung out here. Their Margarita "Flights" is the star attraction. Fajitas and their queso are also top notch. Even after 7 years, it's exactly as we remebered.

First time here. Strawberry margarita is tasty. Fajita meat was not tender and did not have much flavor. Sides were better than the man course. But over good atmosphere. Waiters and greaters were nice and service was quick

Had a great time. We went there for drinks after dinner. The bartender was nice, and treated us well! There wasn't a huge selection of beer on tap.

First time at Papa Lopez, and it was great! Good food and good service.

Well normally, everything is great here... except when we get the bill & pay it... receipt comes back, I sign it, and then my lovely lady and I walk out the door. Not before 2 minutes later, our server comes chasing us out the door asking about our tip... I’m shocked, I’m like really? So he showed me the receipt and I gave him $7.00 cash tip, and he went back inside. But really guys, please don’t have your servers chasing us into the parking lot asking for a tip, that’s just effing unprofessional, and because of this, I will not be returning to this papa Lopez location at least for a good while!

I travel a lot, and love to try local Mexican places - this one was a gem! The guacamole was perfect (pay extra for the "top shelf") and the margaritas definitely had tequila.. not just mix! The service was "good", but not the best, and the food was tasty! I would definitely visit again.

The food was totally awful. The nachos had a weird taste to it, maybe from the seasoning. Never going back! Total waste of my money.

Very good service, food was good too. Good, not great, and a but on the expensive side. (But you may not agree if you are the type that thinks a $10 burger is acceptable.). As far as taste, the Mexican food here is a bit bland, as their choice of flavoring is on the mild side. Still delicious though, just a different type of delicious.

Got in pretty quick on a Friday night. Good ambiance. Good food. Moderately priced between $12-$15 for dinner. My first time. I'll be back.

The only reason I came here was for the frozen margaritas before the movie started. I understand yes it is sunday night but you are still open so if I order a frozen margarita why would you shut off the margarita machine before you closed. I wanted to order another one and got told sorry but "she already shut off the margarita machine". Wow so you have a guest in your restaurant who order a frozen margarita and you think it is a good idea to shut down the machine early!?!?! Not coming back here. I'll just go to Gloria's from here on out. The one star was the only fact at least my server was very polite and attentive.

Ive only visited this restaurant one time.I give it 4 stars because you can't throw a rock and not hit a Tex-Mex restaurant here.I this sea of sameness I don't see anything different. The dinning room was clean service was adequate. And the food was as expected it was hot when it came out. And the food and drinks were fairly Priced. Do I recommend them absolutely. Negatives none go and be board on a budget. Thanks guy's
